Abstract:Double orifice mitral valve (DOMV) is an extremely rare congenital anomaly of the mitral valve (MV) wherein the MV orifice divides into two separate orifices by an accessory fibrous band.Isolated DOMV is a rarity and is often discovered incidentally.
