Role for VPAC2 Receptor-Mediated Signals in Pancreas Development

Abstract: T he pancreas originates from the dorsal and ventral regions of the foregut endoderm immediately behind the stomach. The endoderm evaginates to form epithelial buds that subsequently enlarge.
