Abstract:Aim: Present study was undertaken to validate folklore claims regarding antidiabetic activity of the bile of 'Rohu' (Labeo rohita) fish.Method: Diabetes was induced by single injection of Streptozotocin (50 mg/ kg) in Wistar rats.
