Abstract: For highly heterogeneous complex carbonate reef reservoirs, rock typing with respect to depositional conditions, secondary processes, and permeability and porosity relationships is a useful tool to improve reservoir characterization, modeling, prediction of reservoir volume properties, and estimation of reserves.
