Robustness Analysis of a Hyperchaos-Based Digital Image Encryption Algorithm under Noise Attacks

Abstract: Images are susceptible to degradation by noise from different sources as they undergo various processes. The effect of noise degradation affects the visual information fidelity, structural content and the decryption performance of an image encryption algorithm. In this paper, the effects of noise attacks on the performance of a hyperchaos-based digital image encryption algorithm is evaluated. In hyperchaos-based encryption algorithm, chaotic dynamics are used to encrypt the pixels of images. Two noise models, … Show more

“…The hyperchaotic system used in the study was first reported in [25]. The hyperchaotic system is well-suited for studying the robustness of integral sliding mode controllers due to its huge parameter space and unstable dynamics [26]- [29]. The algebraic structure of the system is represented by four-coupled ordinary differential equations of the form:…”

“…At present, the research on fatigue state detection mainly focuses on the field of fatigue driving, while the research on fatigue state in the field of education tends to be theoretical research, and there are few detection technologies that can be realized. As the detection technology of fatigue state in education field is similar to that of fatigue driving, the research and implementation of key technologies can refer to fatigue driving detection [ 13 , 14 ]. At present, the research on fatigue driving detection at home and abroad adopts subjective detection and objective detection.…”
