Abstract:Remote physiological monitoring has become increasingly important in improving quality of life, with remote photoplethysmography (RPPG) being a popular choice. This paper introduces an envelope–based method for RPPG channels to improve wave morphology of the collected signal based on the reference signal from finger PPG. Using a model consistent with physiological and optical principles, the authors divided the signal into linear superpositions, comprising pulse, constant, and disturbance components. The corre… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
