Abstract:The load-bearing behavior and the performance of composites depends largely on the bond between the individual components. Conventional grid-like textile reinforcement structures with thin and smooth yarn structures transmit forces primarily by an adhesive bond with the surrounding matrix. A sufficient load transmission is not possible.
