Robust Pitching Disturbance Force Attenuation for Tractor Considering Functional Constraints

Abstract: Tractors are attached with function-specific implements with the help of an electro-hydraulic hitch system, to carry out various farm operations. Forces arising during travel with the lifted implement on uneven terrain, generate disturbance forces on the hitch system. In this study, the electro-hydraulic system was controlled such that the disturbance forces are attenuated. A second order transfer function model of the hitch system was obtained using experimental data. In order to account for the nonlinearitie… Show more

“…With the development of measurement and control technology, an indoor simulation test system was built to simulate the tractor operation, which provides a new means for the experimental study of tractor suspension systems [4][5][6][7]. Compared with complex and changeable field operation conditions, in the initial research stage, it is of great significance and function to shorten the development cycle of the tractor suspension tillage-depth control strategy and reduce the development cost by using the bench to verify and debug the suspension system [8,9].…”

“…An adaptive SMC scheme was designed to eliminate the thruster faults and external disturbances for a spacecraft by Liu et al [31]. Anche et al developed a hitch control system to attenuate the disturbance forces in tractors [32]. In order to overcome the inherent limitation of chattering in SMC (high-frequency control signal switching), a reaching law based SMC design has been employed for FTC design [33].…”
