Robust consensus of heterogeneous multiagent systems with switching topologies: A time‐delay case

Abstract: The robust leader‐following consensus of heterogeneous multiagent systems under switching communication topologies is investigated in this paper. Especially, the input delay is considered in each follower. In order to access the information of leader through time‐varying communication, a type of distributed dynamic compensator is proposed for every follower firstly, which get rid of the dependence on the global spectrum information and is proved that it can be viewed as a asymptotic observer of the leader. The… Show more

“…Furthermore, numerous case studies have been conducted on different real-world networks, yielding insights from various perspectives. These studies have encompassed predicting collective behaviors [ 3 , 4 ], applications in control systems [ 5 , 6 ], and other areas. These achievements have made significant contributions to the theory of multi-connected models, which significantly increases the working efficiency of networked systems.…”

“…Notably, time delays within a system can readily induce instability, manifesting as oscillations and chaotic phenomena, which impedes the advancement of time‐delay systems in practical applications. Recently, numerous findings on time‐delay systems have been reported [1–3], particularly in the context of neural networks [4–7], manufacturing processes [8], secure communication [9], biology [10], and information technology [11]. Khadra et al examined the influence of delay on impulsive synchronization and proposed sufficient conditions for mitigating the delay issue in secure communication [9].…”
