Robust Achromatic All-Dielectric Metalens for Infrared Detection in Intelligent Inspection

Abstract: Metalens has the advantages of high design freedom, light weight and easy integration, thus provides a powerful platform for infrared detection. Here, we numerically demonstrated a broadband achromatic infrared all-dielectric metalens over a continuous 800 nm bandwidth, with strong environmental adaptability in air, water and oil. By building a database with multiple 2π phase coverage and anomalous dispersions, optimizing the corrected required phase profiles and designing the sizes and spatial distributions o… Show more

“…[80] By adjusting the geometric parameters of the waveguide meta-atom, a propagation-phase achromatic metalens can regulate the transmission wavefront and group delay. [158][159][160][161][162][163] For an instance, in 2019, Fan et al made a 60 × 60 polarizationinsensitive achromatic metalens array for the integrated imaging 3D optical scene depicted in Figure 14 (d). The meta-atoms of these metalens had various group delays, so it can realize wideband achromatic aberration.…”
