Robotic steering of flexible endoscopes

Abstract: SummaryFlexible endoscopes were originally designed for non-invasive inspection of body cavities and hollow organs. Today, they are also used for complex minimal invasive interventions. Control of the endoscope is difficult and complexity rises with interventional procedures.
