Robot-Assisted Surgery in Gynecology

Abstract: The advancement of robotics-based procedures in the medical industry is the subject of this review article. The purpose of the surgical robot is to increase surgical abilities and address human shortcomings. The robot's success has been predicated on its ability to accurately and consistently repeat tasks. The following are a few objectives and quantifiable benefits of robotic technology improving surgical maneuverability and physical capabilities. In 2005, the FDA granted gynecological surgery approval for th… Show more

“…[9] Poisoning with antipsychotic drugs triggers a number of processes, from the development of systemic inflammatory syndrome to endogenous intoxication. [10] People with hypoxia have these processes progressing at an accelerated pace and, consequently have an impaired circulation of blood throughout the body, including in the smallest blood vessels. This results in problems with external respiration and death.…”

“…Robotic surgery in obstetrics and gynecology, while offering numerous advantages, also presents challenges and limitations that impact its widespread adoption and utilization. Firstly, the high cost of robotic surgery represents a significant barrier, as it is notably higher than traditional surgical techniques, potentially limiting access for patients and healthcare institutions [4,17]. Additionally, a steep learning curve is associated with robotic surgery, requiring surgeons to undergo extensive training to attain proficiency.…”
