Robot-assisted laparoscopic adenomyomectomy: A review of literature

Abstract: Adenomyosis is a benign gynecologic disease characterized by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma within the myometrium. The reported prevalence is 5-70% among symptomatic women. Patients can exhibit various symptoms, but most likely present with heavy menstrual bleeding and dysmenorrhea.
