Risk tolerance in youth with emerging mood disorders

Abstract: Reward-seeking behavior drives adolescents toward risky decision-making. As compared to their older and younger peers, adolescents experience higher rates of anxiety and depressive disorders, leading to impaired decision-making with negative consequences.
