Risk of Second Lung Cancer in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.

Abstract: Background: Studies have shown that patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) are at increased risk of developing second lung cancer. The underlying mechanisms for this increased risk have yet not been identified. Risk factors may differ between histological lung cancer subtypes.
