Risk Groups and Mortality in Patients with SARS-CoV-2 from Family Medicine Unit No. 43 in Southeastern Mexico

Abstract: SARS-CoV-2 infection is a viral disease that causes respiratory infections that can cause multiple complications. Patients with adjacent morbidities have a higher chance of complications and mortality. The National Health and Nutrition Survey (ENSANUT) in 2018 reported that in Mexico, 75.2% of adults aged 20 years and over are overweight and obese, both situations are closely related to the cases reported as severe COVID and even with a higher risk of mortality.
