Risk-Based Inspection and Hazard Assessments: Analogs for Civil Infrastructure

Abstract: Day-to-day environmental and operational conditions that lead to deterioration of in-service structures are most often addressed through prescriptive inspection routines or handled on an ad-hoc basis.
