Abstract: Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) include a wide range of compounds including dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethanes’ (DDTs), hexachlorocyclohexanes (HCHs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
