Risk Analysis and Extension Assessment for the Stability of Surrounding Rock in Deep Coal Roadway

Abstract: In order to evaluate the surrounding rock stability of deep roadways, the diversity of accident hazard sources in deep coal mining is statistically analyzed. To conduct an effective evaluation, first, the risk analysis of the factors affecting the rock mass accidents is carried out, and the comprehensive safety index system of rock accidents in deep mine roadway is established. Further, combining the theory of hazard sources with the extension method, a matter–element model for the risk assessment of rock mass… Show more

“…At the same time, it is also the largest coal producer and consumer in the world [1][2][3]. As the most important basic energy source, coal still plays a very important role in economic and social development [4][5][6][7][8][9]. In the process of deep mining, under the influence of "three highs and one disturbance", the mechanical properties and engineering response characteristics of coal rock will change greatly, and rock burst accidents will frequently occur [10][11][12].…”

“…In recent years, subway tunnels, hydraulic tunnels, urban underground space, coal underground mining, and other projects have increased, and the stability of geotechnical bodies in underground engineering needs to be solved urgently. Therefore, the evaluation of the stability of the surrounding rock in underground engineering has been a research hotspot in the discipline of rock mechanics and engineering and a key technical difficulty that needs to be solved urgently in practical engineering [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ].…”
