Right prefrontal and ventral striatum interactions underlying impulsive choice and impulsive responding

Abstract: Although a multifaceted concept, many forms of impulsivity may originate from interactions between prefrontally-mediated cognitive control mechanisms and limbic, reward or incentive salience approach processes.
