Abstract: Atrial flutter is characterized by rapid atrial activity, causing an abnormal heart rhythm. Recognition and prompt management are of utmost importance since this cardiac arrhythmia could increase the risk of thromboembolic stroke and atrial fibrillation, which may lead to disability and death.
