Abstract:Microbial pangenome analysis identifies present or absent genes in prokaryotic genomes. However, current tools are limited when analyzing species with higher sequence diversity or higher taxonomic orders such as genera or families. The Roary ILP Bacterial core Annotation Pipeline (RIBAP) uses an integer linear programming approach to refine gene clusters predicted by Roary for identifying core genes. RIBAP successfully handles the complexity and diversity of Chlamydia, Klebsiella, Brucella, and Enterococcus ge… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
