Rhopalocera (Lepidoptera) prey records of Asilidae (Diptera) in eastern New Mexico and western Texas, United States of America

Abstract: Robber flies with their prey were collected from 2014-2021 in several eastern New Mexico counties and one county in west Texas. A few were merely photographed in the same areas in 2022. One hundred and one asilid-butterfly pairs were collected representing 17 species of robber flies and 19 species of butterflies.
