Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment with Posteriorly Located Break Treated with Temporary Buckle. A Case Report

Abstract: A rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with a break 19 mm from the limbus in the nasal quadrant was treated with a temporary balloon buckle. This technique was applied to avoid the surgical trauma of vitreous surgery. The operation was successful and the procedure appears to be valid for buckling posterior breaks.
