In this paper, a UWB-IR transceiver implementing TH-PPM coherent operation with simple delay line and selector architecture is presented. The coherent operation is achieved with precise delay design so that the transceiver does not need any extremely high frequency clocks but only clock having frequency same to the pulse repetition frequency. A prototype transceiver is fabricated with SiGe and GaAs components, LTCC delay lines and passive devices on printed circuits boards. Waveforms and frequency spectra at some circuit nodes are observed.

An experimental investigation of the interference system for not only personal area but also wireless body area from signals of ultra wideband impulse radio (UtWB-IR) to the networks (WBANs) [8], where the range of communication is existing wireless local area network (WLAN) systems is described, assumed to be less than the distance we can physically reachedTransceivers of WLAN systems such as IEEE 802.11b/g were emulated by a signal generator and a signal analyzer byorha namel rapproximae avfew meters Forthe programmed by emulation software. UWB-IR signals were body area network, the range of communications is shorter generated with an arbitrary waveform generator or a pulse than the personal area network, so the output power of forming network.
