Abstract:A 49-year-old male patient presented due to recurrent pain and swelling in the left leg. The patient had had deep venous thrombosis with pulmonary embolism 5 years previously. Since then, he had been treated with Vit-k-antagonists. Pronounced paraumbilical collateral circulation of unknown origin was striking. Doppler sonographic evaluation pointed to May-Thurner syndrome.
