Revisiting the interoperation relationships between Systems Engineering collaborative processes

Abstract: International audienceSystems Engineering (SE) best practices are currently guided by standardized processes which must be adapted by skill rules in order to specialize domain-dependent SE workflows as well as domain independent standardized languages. This paper aims to revisit first the interdisciplinary relationships within a SE process as specification relationships between Problem Space (PS) and Solution Space (SS) across collaborative domains. This SE rationale is then applied on a Requirement Specificat… Show more

“…The role of the system architect beyond technical aspect remains challenging and issues presented in this paper and others related ones [3], [4] are in line with those of this R&D programme. Section 2 contextualizes our CISPI-AFW case study reflecting on a lab-platform some critical features of power plant automation.…”

“…System requirements are defined as "the requirements for a system that can provide the services needed by users and other stakeholders in a defined environment" (ISO/IEC, 2008). A detailed analysis of the process for transforming stakeholders requirements into system requirements can be found in (Bouffaron et al, 2012). System requirements are collected in a system requirement model (SRM), as defined in the previous section.…”

“…A definition of this process can be found in [29]: here the authors analyse the requirement analysis process in SE. This process is iterative and recursive [29]. But in MC, once the PLs is designed, the requirement analysis process has to be linear, i.e.…”
