Abstract:This researcher reported on a three-week visit to Spain in 2008, for initial views of what was occurring in Spain in the area of bilingual/dual language programs. At the time of the original report, Spain was initiating a strong push for English in the schools, as required by the European Union because of Spain's reluctance to implement English.
