Revisiting 1964 and a unique river mussel study

Abstract: In 1964 an oft-cited study was carried out on the freshwater mussel populations in the River Thames near Reading in Berkshire. Over half a century later, zoologist Isobel Ollard revisited to the site to gauge what had happened in the intervening period.
