Revision of the Japanese Species of the GenusErichsoniusFauvel (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Philonthini)

Abstract: A revision of the staphylinid genus Erichsonius of Japan is presented including a historical review, a discussion of diagnostic characters and techniques, a key to the species, and some remarks on the zoogeography of this group. Each species is described and illustrated, all available bionomic and distributional data are presented, and distributional records are mapped.
