“…Current perceptions of the Australian distribution of O. anolius differ from the geographic range presented in Springer & Gomon (1975) only in that the species is now known to occur slightly farther north on the eastern coast of Queensland (Gladstone, 23°48'S, 151°16Ti -AMS I.20400-002) and to reach southward to Narooma, New South Wales (36°14'S, 149°46Ti -AMS I.40460-009). The species is documented north of the above-mentioned Queensland record only from a single collection made in 1914 at Norman River in the southern Gulf of Carpentaria.…”
