Review on sensor design for cutting force measurement

Abstract: The measurement of cutting force is one of the key factors in determining the tool condition and improving machine reliability. Therefore, the cutting force measurement becomes crucial to improve the machining process. The cutting force can be measured with piezoelectric as well as piezoresistive transducers.
