Abstract:Studies conducted on the chemical composition of the genus Trichilia have isolated and identified 334 different compounds such as monoterpenes, diterpenes, sesquiterpenes, triterpenes, limonoids, steroids, coumarins, lignans, flavonoids, amino acid, phenolic acids, and lactones.
