Review on load frequency control for power system stability

Abstract: Power system stability is the capability of power systems to maintain load magnitude within specified limits under steady state conditions in electrical power transmission. In modern days, the electrical power systems have grown in terms of complexity due to increasing interconnected power line exchange. For that, an inherent of controllers were essential to correct the deviation in the presence of external disturbances. This paper hence aims to review the basic concepts of power system stability in load frequ… Show more

“…The inverter is the central core of the conversion to convert the linear DC output by the filter into AC power through inversion and directly supplies the load current. However, its output AC voltage and frequency have nothing to do with the AC power supply input by the converter, so it is also called a passive inverter [ 14 ]. In summary, the three-phase converter plays a critical role in current control and contributes to improving current utilization efficiency.…”

“…The stability condition is achieved when the dynamical behavior in the generation side is able to sustain for any level of demand and ensured the dynamical frequency network within the permissible level. A review on stability in power system network has been discussed in [4]- [9]. The investigations on the influence of frequency load control on the islandic power system network fed by mixed generation sources are reported in [10]- [13].…”

“…Whereas silicon-wafer cells have a light absorbing layer up to 350 µm thick. Research in solar energy is getting blossom and offering a multidisciplinary power system study including power system stability [6], power system control [7], and power system protection [8]. Solar cells are sensitive towards temperature through their semiconductor material parameters.…”
