Review on Key Technologies and Development of Magnetic Coupling Resonant-Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer for Unmanned Ground Vehicles

Abstract: With the fast development of magnetic coupling resonant-dynamic wireless power transfer (MCR-DWPT), it is more likely that high-efficiency wireless charging between unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) will be practically realized, especially in desolate places that are far away from a city center or charging depot and always experiencing large load fluctuations, varying operating conditions, and complex working targets. Based on this, the wireless charging of UGVs demands higher reliability and efficiency. This pa… Show more

“…The main difference between inductive wireless charging and resonant wireless charging lies in the presence or absence of resonance between the coil's inductance and capacitance. Inductive wireless charging, due to its non-resonant nature resulting in shorter charging distances, is also not considered [39][40][41][42][43]. Therefore, this paper focuses on the study of resonant wireless power transfer technology.…”

“…Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology has increasingly garnered attention and research from scholars worldwide in recent years [1][2][3][4][5]. Among various WPT technologies, Magnetic field Coupled Wireless Power Transfer (MC-WPT) is the most prevalent and has been applied in household electronic equipment [6], medical electronic devices [7], intelligent industrial equipment [8], underwater detection equipment [9], and aerospace equipment [10].…”
