“…The strategy reported here can be used to develop advanced materials (by coupling GO with other metal oxides) for the treatment of industrial effluents where dyes or coloring materials are used. There is a need to perform such studies to clean the environment/water matrices with material developed based on other natural deep eutectic solvents because they are versatile coupling agents for the members of the graphene family with metal oxide NCs. …”

“…The latter are ice-like structures, composed of water molecules that physically encompass gaseous molecules [104]. The formation of gas hydrates occurs at specific temperature-pressure conditions and is selective: water molecules form cages, as the result of hydrogen bonds between them, which encapsulate gas molecules, excluding dissolved ions and salts from the hydrate crystals [105]. The gases stabilize the cage lattices, thus leading to the formation of stable crystals.…”

“…Deep eutectic solvents (DESs), showing the merits of easy preparation and generating no waste in the process, have been extensively regarded as a new type of sustainable solvent system . They have been widely explored in a series of fields like active substance extraction, material preparation, biomass processing, water treatment, etc. In recent decades, active pharmaceutical ingredient (API)-based DESs (generally known as THEDES) have been proposed and shown excellent efficiency in enhancing the solubility, permeation ability, and/or bioavailability of API, , where API can be dissolved in DES or as an ingredient of DES. For instance, Duarte et al reported an obvious enhancement in the solubility and permeability of ibuprofen when transferring it into THEDESs; Jeliński et al showed that the solubility of curcumin in DES prepared from glycerol and choline chloride can be 12 000-fold of that in water, and no degradation of curcumin was observed in this DES within 2 h, while about 95% curcumin in an aqueous solution was degraded …”
