“…The Luanchuan region, located in the northeastern domain of the East Qinling Orogen (Figure 1b), is composed of the Xiong'er, Guandaokou, Kuanping, Luanchuan and Taowan Groups (Figure 1c) (Xue et al, 2018; Yan, 2004; Zhang, 2014). The major faults in the Luanchuan region consist mainly of the Miaozi and Luanchuan faults as well as their NE‐ and NW‐trending branches (Xue et al, 2018; Yang, Zhang, et al, 2009; Zhang, 2014), which are correlated with intercontinental collision (Dong et al, 2011; Wu & Zheng, 2013; Zhang, 2015).
