“…The typical operational lifetime ranges from 10 to 20 years or more in industrial applications [120]. As depicted in Figure 7, the basic design of a DAB converter includes two full-bridge converters, power MOSFETs labeled S 1 through S 8 , a transformer's leakage L, which may also incorporate an additional external inductor, and a HF transformer with a turn ratio denoted by n [121][122][123]. The DAB converter obtains a fixed input voltage from the MVDC bus, which is presented by V bus in Figure 7, and the output current I thrust is used to drive the electric thruster.…”

“…Figure 8 shows the gate signal S1-S8, transformer voltages V1 (input) and V2 (output), and the transformer current (IL) under the phase-shift control. In the phaseshift control, the duty cycle of all switches is fixed as 50% [122]. A phase-shift angle D is…”

“…The increasing need for standard (two-level) and multilevel power dc-dc converters with galvanic isolation highlights the importance of precise TR models in various applications, such as renewable energy systems, telecommunications infrastructure, data centers, electric vehicle charging networks, battery energy storage systems, microgrids, and power distribution networks [13]. The integration of TRs within dc-dc converters, such as dualactive-bridge converters (DABs) and solid-state transformers (SSTs), highlights their versatile utility and prominence in modern power electronics [7], [12].…”

“…In applications that use DABs or SSTs, it is undeniable that control systems must regulate voltage or current output [7], [12], [16]- [18]. However, synthesizing control systems for such applications is inherently challenging due to the nonlinear nature of these systems.…”

“…To deal with this issue, some snubber circuits have been proposed to suppress voltage spikes [12][13][14][15], which can reduce the voltage spikes during the connection of the dc-link inductor and the leakage inductor. Furthermore, some snubber-less schemes are presented in [16][17][18][19] based on all-active-switch topology, which cannot be used in the current-fed full-bridge DC-DC converter. Moreover, in unidirectional applications such as photovoltaic generation and fuel cell systems, the all-active-switch topology is redundant and inevitably increases the complexity and cost of power converters.…”
