Abstract:Cryogenic power electronic conversion (< 123 K) is expected to offer higher efficiencies for future all-electric transportation platforms. Low temperature operation of converters together with integration of wide bandgap devices (WBG) can enable higher switching frequencies with reduced filtering components.
