Review of contemporary architecture projects based on nature geometries

Abstract: Current architecture is characterized by specifying new typologies but not experienced until now in the engineering and architecture disciplines. Architectural free forms with non-euclidean geometries are being developed, which answer to logical analysis and parametric design, and which are tending to the mimesis of behaviour with the nature. Innovative research is developing advanced constructions of complex geometries and free forms by architects like Yushang

“…(Ma et al, 2018) discuss the possible advantages of 3D printed construction (flexibility, social impact, and costs), technological challenges (equipment, materials, reinforcement, coordination, evaluation) and applications (diversity of materials, irregular shapes, BIM integration, and planetary construction). (Álvarez Elipe and Anaya, 2018) stress the significance of new construction technologies for the architecture. In general, these works mention different systems and potential advantages, showing the emerging development of this technology.…”

“…Physical models are often used to better understand and appreciate the shapes of these complex geometries (Pignataro, 2012). The Geodesign framework, as applied in urban planning, can also be used to ensure that building designs comply with local regulations (Zyngier, et all., 2015;Elipe, 2018).…”

“…There is a principle of dynamic similarity whereby the "dimensions" remain the same in equilibrium equations, but the relative values are altered with the scale. Numerous architectural projects have been based on principles of nature [19] .…”
