Abstract: Abstract. Coastal enhanced silicate weathering (CESW) is increasingly receiving attention as a marine-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technology. The method aims to achieve ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) by introducing fast-weathering silicate minerals into coastal systems.
