Abstract:Binder‐ and conducting additive‐free Si–O–C composite layers are deposited electrochemically under potentiostatic conditions from sulfolane‐based organic electrolyte. Quartz crystal microbalance with damping monitoring is used for evaluation of the layer growth and its physical properties. The sodiation–desodiation performance of the material is afterward explored in Na‐ion electrolyte. In terms of specific capacity, rate capability, and long‐term electrochemical stability, the experiments confirm the advantag… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
