Retrovirus-mediated in vitro gene transfer into chicken male germ line cells

Abstract: Chicken testicular cells, including spermatogonia, transplanted into the testes of recipient cockerels sterilized by repeated g-irradiation repopulate the seminiferous epithelium and resume the exogenous spermatogenesis.
