Retrospective diagnosis of a famous historical figure: ontological, epistemic, and ethical considerations

Abstract: The aim of this essay is to elaborate philosophical and ethical underpinnings of posthumous diagnosis of famous historical figures based on literary and artistic products, or commonly called retrospective diagnosis.
