Abstract:Retroperitoneal fibrosis (RPF) is a rare entity that consists of chronic, non-specific inflammation of the retroperitoneum with proliferation of fibrotic tissue surrounding the aorta, inferior vena cava, iliac vessels, and generally encompasses and compresses the ureters.
