Retrieving the Kinematic Process of Repeated-Mining-Induced Landslides by Fusing SAR/InSAR Displacement, Logistic Model, and Probability Integral Method

Abstract: The extraction of underground minerals in hilly regions is highly susceptible to landslides, which requires the application of InSAR techniques to monitor the surface displacement. However, repeated mining for multiple coal seams can cause a large displacement beyond the detectable gradient of the traditional InSAR technique, making it difficult to explore the relationship between landslides and subsurface excavations in both temporal and spatial domains. In this study, the Tengqing landslide in Shuicheng, Gui… Show more

“…Heavy deformations are caused by high-intensity, large-scale, and rapid coal mining, resulting in significant damage to surface infrastructure and the ecological environment. Furthermore, they negatively impact the safety and wellbeing of the residents in the surrounding areas [2][3][4]. While new mining technologies, such as separation pouring mining and "mining-pouring-keeping" collaborative mining, offer some control over deformation [5,6], they have limited applicability and impose additional production burdens.…”
