The two most essential factors for mobile self-organizing networks applicable to drones are reliability and stability. In harsh communication environments, such as mountainous regions and natural disasters, the use of satellites and terrestrial communication stations has severe time delays due to the high speed of UAVs, resulting in frequent communication interruptions with UAVs. Therefore, UAVs need to establish self-organizing networks for communication and information sharing. High-speed movement will lead to rapid changes in the network topology, resulting in established links being in an unstable connection state and even frequent routing errors, thus preventing the establishment of stable communication links. In order to improve the communication quality of UAVs under high-speed movement, we propose a dynamic source routing protocol based on path reliability and monitoring repair mechanism (DSR-PM). The model performs data transmission by filtering the best reliability path. The link state information is monitored during transmission and broken links are repaired in time to ensure the communication stability and reliability of the links and improve the data transmission efficiency. We simulated the approach in NS2 software and the simulation results show that the DSR-PM protocol effectively reduces parameters such as overhead, packet loss and delay, improves network throughput, and provides better communication performance.

MANET is an infrastructure-less, fixed topology less, multi-hop and bandwidth constraint wireless network. In MANET optimized control message broadcasting through an efficient routing can results in bandwidth utilization and efficient data transmission with minimum numbers of hops. An efficient routing technique using a broadcast network, designed by existing minimum cost spanning tree (MCST) is also unable to provide all-nodes-to-all shortest route and also have issues about data transmission efficiency. In this paper, our broadcast network design approaches can provide a solution for optimized control message broadcast and data transmission efficiency by considering Kruskalś MCST based broadcast network as a base network. Initially, we consider high-frequency links (HF-Link) to be added in the base network by considering the Dijkstra algorithm. Secondly, the broadcast network is designed by including those links with the neighbors who have at least a fixed number of neighbors (CF-Link) and finally, only those links are added with the base network which gives a shorter path to all other nodes (ST-Link) in the network. Using Omnet++ we have compared individual broadcast network design with the base network and observe that a slight increment in control overhead in existing based techniques could increase data efficiency significantly through a given suboptimal path.

SummaryNowadays, research based on mobile ad hoc network's (MANET) performance improvement has drawn a particular concentration from scientists worldwide. The shortest path selection among destination and source nodes determines the network's throughput in MANET. In addition, power management and energy consumption are also the major difficulties that MANET suffers. The conventional routing protocols are intended for static bonding, but that protocol does not satisfy the stability in ad hoc networks by means of regularly changing connectivity. This shows the routing problem in MANETs. Therefore, to overcome the routing issues and maintain energy efficiently, the Type‐2 fuzzy‐based Starling Murmuration Optimizer (SMO)‐War Strategy Optimization (WSO) (T2FSMO‐WSO) routing protocol is proposed in this paper. MANET takes into account four input parameters: route length, active link ratio to global traffic, network lifetime, and control packet ratio. The SMO algorithm is employed to choose the relay node with low energy consumption. The trapezoidal membership functions are used to describe the fuzzy sets for these parameters. The content‐based routing among source and destination nodes is determined using the WSO algorithm. The simulation outcomes reveal that the proposed method discovers highly stable paths with minimum distance and minimized the consumption of energy.
