Retraction Note: Improving the bitumen properties with the introduction of energy-saving additives

Abstract

The technological temperatures of binders were established in this work based on the temperature-viscosity dependences constructed at an equal shear rate (40 s−1), i.e. the temperatures to which it is advisable to heat bitumen during the preparation of asphalt concrete mixtures and temperatures corresponding to the beginning of compaction of asphalt concrete mixtures laid in the coating. For all modified binders used in this work, these temperatures are only 2 - 4° lower than the corresponding process temperatures of the initial bitumen.
