The islanded mode is one of the connection modes of the grid distributed generation resources. In this study, a distributed generation resource is connected to linear and nonlinear loads via a three-phase inverter where a control method needing no current sensors or compensator elements is applied to the distribute generation system in the islanded mode. This control method has two main loops in each phase. The first loop controls the voltage control loops that adjust the three-phase point of common coupling, the amplitude of the non-sinusoidal reference waveform and the near-state pulse width modulation (NSPWM) method. The next loop compensates the harmonic compensator loop that calculates the voltage harmonics of the point of common coupling in each phase, and injects them to compensate the non-sinusoidal reference waveforms of each phase. The simulation results in MATLAB/SIMULINK show that this method can generate balanced threephase sinusoidal voltage with an acceptable total harmonic distortion (THD) at the joint connection point.

The aim of the current research was to develop models to predict the severity of accidents on rural roads in Tehran province, Iran. In this regard, using accident data from 2017 to 2020, the machine learning algorithms, including multiple logistic regression, multilayer perceptron neural network (MLPNN), and radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) models, as well as statistical methods, including Kolmogorov–Smirnov test, Friedman test, and factor analysis, were implemented to determine the contributory factors in the severity of accidents. Thus, nine variables affecting the severity of accidents were considered in modeling, and then the effect of each variable was calculated. By comparing the results of artificial neural network (ANN) models and the Friedman test, it was indicated that the human factor had a remarkable effect on accident severity. In addition, both machine learning and statistical methods can be served as guidance for safety authorities to provide safety solutions, thereby leading to reducing accidents. Finally, the performances of ANN models were analyzed by other mathematical models built by MATLAB programming.

In the article presented herein, a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) biosensor is introduced for Vincristine determination in pharmaceutical preparations based on the modification of screen printed electrode (SPE) with double-stranded DNA (ds-DNA), polypyrrole (PP), peony-like CuO:Tb3+ nanostructure (P-L CuO:Tb3+ NS). The developed sensor indicated a wide linear response to Vincristine concentration ranged from 1.0 nM to 400.0 μM with a limit of detection as low as .21 nM. The intercalation of Vincristine with DNA guanine led to the response. The optimized parameters for the biosensor performance were ds-DNA/Vincristine interaction time, DNA concentration and type of buffer solution. The docking investigation confirm the minor groove interaction between guanine base at surface of or ds-DNA/PP/P-L CuO:Tb3+ NS/SPE and Vincristine. The proposed sensor could successfully determine Vincristine in Vincristine injections and biological fluids, with acceptable obtains.
