[Retracted Article] Performance of Ba0.95Ca0.05Zr0.15Ti0.85O3/PVDF composite flexible films

Abstract: Calcium barium zirconate titanate (Ba 0.95 Ca 0.05 Zr 0.15 Ti 0.85 O 3 , BCZT) ceramic particles were obtained by conventional ceramic processing method. BCZT powders were modified by dopamine through chemical coating method. The composite films based on dopamine@BCZT and polyvinylidene fluoride were fabricated by solution casting method. The microstructure and morphology were characterized by X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, and field emission scanning electron microscope. … Show more

“…As a kind of semicrystalline polymer, the polarization is a complex process because of the dipole turn rolling, the space charge (SC) accumulation between crystalline phase and amorphous phase under the external electric field. [11][12][13][14][15] Relevant research also pointed out that the improvements of electrical properties are closely related to the changes of inner charge carrier trap and polarization mechanism for the dielectric materials. 4,5 However, with the development of electronic and electric industries, the traditional single phase polymer materials have been difficult to meet the increasing requirements of application in various fields.…”

“…[6][7][8][9][10] And the incorporation of appropriate quantities of barium titanate and BCZT particles-filled in PVDF matrix has been found significantly to enhance its dielectric constant and energy storage density. [11][12][13][14][15] Relevant research also pointed out that the improvements of electrical properties are closely related to the changes of inner charge carrier trap and polarization mechanism for the dielectric materials. [16][17][18] Then the introduction of BCZT will bring following changes for the PVDF matrix: (1) the introduction of BCZT will increase the interfaces between organic and inorganic materials.…”

“…Therefore, barium zirconate titanate with high dielectric constant ceramic can be modified and blended with PVDF which has high breakdown strength to obtain a composite film with the advantages of the two materials. This composite film can meet many requirements of modern capacitors and be applied to high‐power energy storage devices [30–36] …”

“…When the volume fraction of BST reaches 4.4vol%, energy storage density of composite materials is twice higher than pure membrane. Wang et al [33] . prepared Ba 0.95 Ca 0.05 Zr 0.15 Ti 0.85 O 3 /PVDF composite flexible films possessing high dielectric constant and low dielectric loss.…”
